To-Do Tuesday #12

Not much got done from the last To-Do Tuesday. I’m hoping during the upcoming week I get some quilting time.

Here’s my list for this week:

  • Finish dad’s quilt. It just needs binding
  • Get started on Belle’s graduation quilt
  • Finish the blue kite blocks
  • Possible start testing another paper-pieced block from fandom in stitches. I’m a little over paper piecing at the moment, but these blocks will be used in a quilt for my cousin for Christmas, which will be here before I know it.

I’m ready to be done with the kite quilt. It’s been in progress for several months now; I rarely work steadily on a quilt for that long. But the end is in sight!

Stack of completed blocks
Last stack of fabric to cut
Next paper-piece test block

Unfortunately, most of my quilt time these last few months was spent on the paper pieced blocks that I can’t show. But I’m super happy with how they’ve come out and will at least be able to show them by Christmas!

Hopefully next week I’ll have a finished quilt and a quilt top to show.

  1. Hi Mercedes! Oh, your kite blocks look quite interesting. I can wait to see them all on a design wall – they look quite diverse with fun and pretty background fabrics. Are the kite block PP as well? Thanks for linking up this week and good luck with the week ahead. ~smile~ Roseanne
